Mental Health and Well-Being

Mental Health and Well-Being is a prevention program conducted by The Orange County LGBTQ+ CommUnity Collective, which represents a convergence of five community-based organizations. APAIT and its collaborative partners work together to provide a series of no-cost programming to LGBTQ+ individuals in Orange County, including the following:

  • Mental health and wellness educational groups

  • Peer-led support sessions

  • Community events and outreach

  • APAIT’s mission is to positively impact the quality of life for vulnerable communities experiencing behavioral health challenges, housing insecurity, and at-risk for HIV/AIDS. APAIT is grounded by its core values of compassion, commitment, communication, empowerment, integrity, mentorship, respect, and teamwork.

  • The LGBTQ Center OC’s mission is to advocate on behalf of the Orange County Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Queer/Questioning communities and provide services that ensure its well-being and positive identity.
