HIV & STI Testing

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 16% of individuals living with HIV in the United States are unaware of their status. APAIT offers free, confidential, and rapid HIV testing at both Los Angeles and Orange County locations.

Why should I get tested?

Knowing your HIV status enables you to make choices that can keep you and your partner(s) safe and healthy!

How easy is it to get tested?

It’s as easy as a finger stick from our trained HIV counselors. Our LA office offers the INSTI HIV test which allows you to get your test result in as little as 1 minute! We also offer rapid HIV tests which gives you your test result in as little as 20 minutes!

Does the finger stick hurt?

APAIT utilizes HIV testing devices that require blood samples. We only need a small amount of blood to run the tests. We will use a small needle on the tip of your finger to collect the blood. Most of our clients say that they feel a small pinch on their fingers, but nothing too painful that they wouldn’t do the test again.
